The IPBank E-Series™ 620qz 3Gbps SATA RAID iSCSI is a high-availability iSCSI appliance that incorporates storage capacities of 3,000GB (3TB) to 6,000GB (6TB) with the latest iSCSI, NAS and RAID technologies. High performance features include single or dual Intel Quad-Core Xeon processors, up to 16GB system memory, and dual 10/100/1000 copper gigabit Ethernet connectivity. An optional high-speed 900GB 10,000RPM storage capacity is also available.

This fault-tolerant data storage comes in a convenient, space-saving 2U Rackmount chassis with hot-swappable drives and trays, redundant 700 Watt hot-swappable power supply, and an advanced cooling system. Your data is protected with your choice of RAID 0, 1, 1E, 3, 5, 6 and JBOD across six hot-swappable SATA disk drives on a high-performance 3Gbps SATA RAID controller.

The IPBank E-Series 620qz provides two RAID Certified 36GB 10,000RPM WD Raptor disk drives mirrored at RAID 1 specifically for the operating system. These disks are completely independent of the data storage array.

The IPBank E-Series 620qz Storage Appliance is extremely versatile and supports both iSCSI and NAS protocols. It comes standard with 32 delta-based snapshots per LUN, and supports up to 16 hosts and 512 LUNs.

Installation and setup are a breeze, allowing the IPBank E-Series 620qz to be up and running in about 15 minutes after it is unpacked from the box. Additional software, including backup client or server applications, may be loaded on the iSCSI appliance via its integrated DVD-ROM drive.

All IPBank E-Series products are based on Windows Storage Server 2003 R2 base kernel, and powered by DynamiX iSCSI Storage Server. Windows Storage Server allows the IPBank E-Series to be used not only as a high-performance iSCSI appliance, but also as a file server, domain controller, application server, web server, name server, print server, streaming media server, and more!

Windows Storage Server 2003 R2 includes Remote Desktop and an intuitive browser-based management interface, which allow system administrators to remotely manage an IPBank E-Series product from anywhere in the world. The DynamiX iSCSI Storage Server delta snapshot service can be leveraged in addition to Volume Shadow Copy Service to provide easy data recovery and rollback.
