The IPBank E-Series™ 622q Ultra320 SCSI RAID iSCSI is a high-availability iSCSI appliance that incorporates storage capacities of 438GB to 1,800GB (1.8TB) with the latest iSCSI, NAS and RAID technologies. High performance features include single or dual Woodcrest Dual-Core Xeon processors, up to 16GB system memory, 15,000RPM spindle speeds, mirrored OS drives, and dual 10/100/1000 copper gigabit Ethernet connectivity.
This fault-tolerant data storage comes in a convenient, space-saving 2U Rackmount chassis with hot-swappable drives and trays, redundant 700 Watt hot-swappable power supply, and an advanced cooling system. Your data is protected with your choice of RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 and 50 across six hot-swappable Ultra320 SCSI disk drives, on a high-performance Ultra320 SCSI hardware RAID controller.
The IPBank E-Series 622q Storage Appliance is extremely versatile and supports both iSCSI and NAS protocols. It comes standard with 32 delta-based snapshots per LUN, and supports up to 16 hosts and 512 LUNs.
Installation and setup are a breeze, allowing the IPBank E-Series 622q to be up and running in about 15 minutes after it is unpacked from the box. Additional software, including backup client or server applications, may be loaded on the iSCSI appliance via its integrated DVD-ROM drive.
All IPBank E-Series products are based on Windows Storage Server 2003 R2 base kernel, and powered by DynamiX iSCSI Storage Server. Windows Storage Server allows the IPBank E-Series to be used not only as a high-performance iSCSI appliance, but also as a file server, domain controller, application server, web server, name server, print server, streaming media server, and more!
Windows Storage Server 2003 R2 includes Remote Desktop and an intuitive browser-based management interface, which allow system administrators to remotely manage an IPBank E-Series product from anywhere in the world. The DynamiX iSCSI Storage Server delta snapshot service can be leveraged in addition to Volume Shadow Copy Service to provide easy data recovery and rollback.
