FlexStor Expansion Units support your choice of RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60 and JBOD from their dual connections to the ultra high performance 12Gbps SAS hardware RAID controller in the FlexStor NAS+iSCSI storage appliance.

Each FlexStor E16m Expansion Unit comes in a convenient, space-saving 3U rackmount chassis with sixteen hot-swappable SAS disk drives.

Full x8 SAS 3.0 end-to-end connectivity with dual 12Gbps SAS input links and dual 12Gbps SAS output links allows the FlexStor E16m to be included in a cascade of up to 128 drives.

A 1000 Watt dual redundant 80-PLUSŪ Titanium 96.37% high-efficiency certified power supply with hot-swappable modules ensures continuous up-time and reduced electrical consumption.
