Dynamic Network Factory (DNF) has added a number of enhancements to its StorBank-XL appliances, which combine NAS and iSCSI in a “unified IP storage” platform. Upgrades include support for 10,000rpm and 15,000rpm SAS drives (as well as SATA drives), enhanced backup and archiving functions, support for the NDMP protocol, and write-once, read-many (WORM) iSCSI volumes and file shares. Other features include replication and point-in-time snapshots. Pricing starts at $3,300.
