The FlexStor-NAS™ 2402wz SAS/SSD NAS server is a high-availability NAS appliance that incorporates storage capacities up to 14,400GB (14.4TB) with the latest RAID and NAS technologies. High performance features include single or dual second generation Quad-Core Xeon processors, up to 12GB fully-buffered system memory with error correction, and dual copper gigabit Ethernet connectivity. The 2402wz is optimized for performance as a unified file and block serving appliance with file de-duplication.
This fault-tolerant data storage comes in a convenient, space-saving 2U Rackmount chassis with hot-swappable drives and trays, redundant 1200 Watt power supply, and an advanced cooling system. Your data is protected with your choice of RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and JBOD across twenty-four hot-swappable SAS/SATA/SSD disk drives on a high-performance RAID controller.

Windows Storage Server 2008 is a dedicated file and print server based on Windows Server 2008 that is designed for dependability, seamless integration, and best value in networked storage. Windows Storage Server 2008 integrates with existing infrastructures and supports heterogeneous file serving as well as backup and replication of stored data. Windows Storage Server is also an ideal solution for consolidating multiple file servers into a single solution that enables cost reduction and policy-based management of storage resources.
Windows Storage Server 2008 includes Remote Desktop and an intuitive browser-based management interface, which allow system administrators to remotely manage the FlexStor-NAS Server from anywhere in the world. It also includes Volume Shadow Copy Service which makes storage and back up easier, while reducing demands on system administrators. Volume Shadow Copy technology enables you to retrieve old copies of deleted files right from your Windows desktop.
Not only is the FlexStor-NAS 2402wz great as a stand-alone network-attached storage device, but it is also highly expandable as well.
